Area of Concentration (AOC) Open House – April 1

CUNY BA Area of Concentration (AOC) Office Hours

What is the CUNY BA Area of Concentration (AOC)?

The Area of Concentration (AOC) is the title and list of courses for the student’s unique course of study (major) in CUNY Baccalaureate (CUNY BA).

CUNY BA asks that students submit a detailed Area of Concentration (AOC) Proposal as part of their application so the program can assess how they can help students meet their academic goals.

Have a question about your Area of Concentration?

  • Do you have a question about area of concentration requirements or finding a faculty mentor?
  • Drop in any time between 11 am and 1 pm on Friday, April 1st, to speak with the CUNY BA Academic Advisors and the Interim Academic Director.

The Area of Concentration (AOC) form cannot be blank. You must have a working title and courses you’d like to include.

You can drop in anytime for as little or as long as you need. Sign up here:

If students can’t drop in, we suggest they contact their CUNY BA Academic Advisor. More information can be found here:
