Collaborating with Career Planning and Professional Development, we will host an Admin Jobs in Higher Education workshop to help doctoral students and others expand their job search. The workshop will be facilitated by Jenny Furlong (Director of Career Planning and Professional Development), Angela Dunne (Career Fellow at Career Planning & Professional Development), and Jody Vaisman (Academic Director of CUNY BA).
In this interactive workshop geared toward doctoral students (but open to all), learn how to:
• identify administrative jobs in higher education
• prepare to apply (hint: research!)
• convert your faculty-focused CV and cover letter to an administrative-appropriate resume
• and (time permitting) learn how to explore specialized administrative areas (e.g., admissions, advising, etc.)
