Production Project Management Internship
Job Overview:
The intern would support a television production team working on monthly film showcases and a studio show.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Under the supervision of the senior producer, the intern would review films for broadcast compliance, upload files, update project databases, communicate with stakeholders, manage production calendars, and support studio-show production.
Qualifications:
Interest in television production and familiarity with project management tools. Strong organizational, writing, research, and communication skills. Arts Administration, Business, Media Production, or related majors.
Open only to seniors and master’s students who are enrolled full-time at CUNY.
The CUNY TV Internship/Mentorship Program is an on-the-job learning experience where students develop practical skills in television production while working alongside industry professionals. Interns are matched with experienced mentors, participate in skills development activities, and attend an orientation covering work expectations, CUNY-wide policies, and CUNY TV–specific communication and safety protocols.
We typically accept approximately 15 student interns per semester. Current internship offerings are production assistant, camera assistant, editing assistant, and social media assistant.
CUNY TV offers unpaid internships during the academic Fall and Spring semesters exclusively to full-time CUNY students. Federal Work-Study and Academic Credit internships are available.
