The Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism’s accelerated 4+1 (Bachelor’s/MA) program is hosting two information sessions. You’re invited to attend. The information sessions will be held online.

- Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 1 PM
At the information sessions:
- Learn how you can earn your MA in just one additional year after completing your bachelor’s degree.
- Meet key admissions and academic affairs team members who will guide you through the program’s benefits and eligible student onboarding/enrollment process.
- Learn about our state-of-the-art facilities in Midtown Manhattan, just steps from Times Square and next door to The New York Times.

Eligible students can jump-start their journalism careers by taking 12 graduate-level credits during their senior year, which count toward both degrees.
Program Highlights:
Students can specialize in one of six subject areas:
- Arts and Culture Journalism
- Bilingual Reporting (Spanish & English)
- Business and Economics Journalism
- Health and Science Journalism
- International Reporting
- Local Accountability Reporting
Additionally, students can develop expertise in areas such as audio and video reporting, photojournalism, investigative journalism, narrative nonfiction, and data journalism.
