Finding a Faculty Mentor Workshop
On Thursday, September 22nd at 10 AM and Thursday, September 29th at 6 PM, CUNY BA is hosting virtual workshops to help CUNY BA students find their faculty mentors. CUNY BA Graduate Fellows and a CUNY BA Academic Advisor will lead a discussion during the workshop. Topics will include
→ how to research faculty
→ how to reach out to possible mentors (and prepare for an initial meeting)
→ how to maintain your mentor/mentee relationship
→ and how to present yourself to potential mentors.
We will also answer individual questions about the process of finding a mentor. Registration links will come soon. There are two dates to choose from, Thursday, September 22nd at 10 AM and Thursday, September 29th at 6 PM. We can’t wait to see you there! This workshop will take place online via zoom.
