CUNY BA is hosting the CUNY BA Research Skills Mini-Workshop Series to help CUNY BA students boost their research skills! The workshops, led by CUNY BA Doctoral Fellows and CUNY BA’s Academic Director, Dr. Jody Clark-Vaisman, include 30-minute interactive sessions and tailored advice on your research projects.

ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHY [Online Workshop]

Monday, November 4, 12 PM – 1 PM

An annotated bibliography summarizes the key points and arguments of the sources cited in your research, whether for your final term paper or a conference panel presentation. In this workshop, you will learn about the elements of an annotated bibliography, how to compose it, and sample annotated bibliography entries. Students are encouraged, but not required, to bring at least one source (like a book, article, or document) and work with the Fellows to write an entry for an annotated bibliography.
