Raneem Abdelghafar, Media & Communications
My name is Karina Fernandez-Saito, and I am the Director of Event
Planning of CUNY SLC. My home college is Brooklyn College through
Macaulay Honors College, which I will be graduating from in spring
2026. With the CUNY-BA program, my area of concentration is Ethics in
Cognitive Health. Deciding to become a CUNY-BA student was not an easy
task, however, my ongoing research project with the Mellon Mays
Fellowship gave me the confidence to strive for new opportunities in
academia.
