As the new host, you’ll take on a variety of engaging and impactful tasks, including:

  • Conducting thorough research on guests and topics to create compelling interview questions that captivate viewers.
  • Brainstorming innovative episode concepts at the pulse of college culture and integrating them into each episode through insightful discussions.
  • Booking guests, organizing pre-interviews, and coordinating schedules with various teams to ensure smooth production logistics.
  • Producing digital video content from concept to delivery, contributing to CUNY Uncut’s mission of creating impactful, uncensored, unedited, and uncut content.
  • Editing final broadcasts using Adobe Premiere Pro to ensure high-quality content that meets CUNY TV standards.
  • Creating and producing promotional content for CUNY Uncut and CUNY TV’s social media platforms to enhance online visibility and attract new viewers.
  • Collaborating closely with the project manager, production head, library team, and web team to meet episode deadlines and maintain consistency.

Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge and experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team player.
  • Excellent project management and prioritization skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • High-quality work ethic.

Requirements:

  • Current CUNY undergraduate student.
  • Major in media, journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • Flexible schedule (part-time, minimum of 2 days per week).
