Julie Fuller is a Ph.D. Candidate in English at The Graduate Center, CUNY, with a certificate in Interactive Technology and Pedagogy. Her dissertation project on nineteenth-century representations of athletic women examines embodiment and power in relation to gender, ability, sexuality, and race, revealing a representational history that informs our current policing of queer, disabled, trans, and women of color athletes. She also works as the Program Administrator for the Interactive Technology and Pedagogy Certificate Program at The Graduate Center. For CUNY BA, Julie will focus on organizing workshops, events, and professional development for students.
