Joseph Henry, Graduate Fellow

Joseph Henry is a PhD Candidate in the art history program at the CUNY Graduate Center, where he’s writing a dissertation on the artistic movement known as German Expressionism. He’s taught at Brooklyn College for a number of years and worked at arts institutions including the Dia Art Foundation, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Whitney Museum of American Art. His work has been supported by the Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst, the Mellon Foundation, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art; for the 2021-22 year he is also an Art Science Connect Dissertation Fellow at the Graduate Center. For CUNY BA, Joseph will focus on organizing workshops, events, and professional development for students.
